About Me

Hello my name is Tanshell Hackney. I am a passionate professional nanny here in Atlanta GA. I have over 20 years in professional childcare experience ages infancy until teenage years. I have an Associate degree in Early Childhood Development, and I continue Early child care classes to stay on top of different strategies because each child is different. I am CPR & First Aid Certified, and I am a Certified Newborn Care Specialist.

My philosophy for children in my care is creating a safe space for the child/children. I provide a nurturing, creative environment where children can thrive emotionally and intellectually.

I enjoy engaging children in creative play, arts, crafts, reading, outdoor activities, education games, conversation, age appropriate educational games which involves learning through play. I am a passionate, patient, nuturing, happy, organized provider. I model and believe in positive reinforcement, open communication with children and their parents. In my spare time I enjoy music, family time with my family and friends, taking care of my physical and mental health, travel, & just enjoying life.

I am a certified life coach who enjoys helping individuals and families create practical systems and routines that support successful, balanced living.
